Come one, Come all to the Freeheel Frenzy! A true Telemark experience. Join us March 28th at Willamette Pass. The Frenzy is a non-commercialized, fun-focused event by and for pinheads.

Registration 8:25AM-10:30
Registration is in the race room mid-level in the lodge.

Tele Ratpacks 9:15-10:30
If folks want some tips or just meet some friends they will have to get here on time and meet on the mountain side of the lodge. Green pole for beginners, blue pole for intermediates, black pole for experts and white pole for folks that want to talk about back-country
considerations.

Silly Slalom 10:45-12:00
A fun icebreaker to loosen everybody up. The silly slalom is an on-snow obstacle course designed to test the skills and humor of the frenzied pinhead. The course includes a limbo, yodeling station and many other activities. It will be held by the registration area.

Freestyle Jam 12:45-1:30
The "Freestyle Jam" will be held in the terrain park. The event includes participants who may or may not want to get big air but still want to show off in front of spectators. Participants can choose to jump, jib, theatrics, ski ballet or whatever else they think will awe the crowd.

Downhill 1:45-2:30
A simple gated course to prove your nordic mettle.


Uphill/Downhill aka: Jack Meissner Trap Line Run 3PM till its done
A mass start, poker run style race picking up colored tokens at designated way points, and the finishing back at base. The namesake is in recognition of what some local settlers did to make ends meet.

Closing Ceremonies 4PM
Short and sweet and then turn everybody loose. The raffle will happen at this time.

Bonfire and Snowcampout Stick around in the evening for the bonfire mountain side of the lodge. Bring your tent and warm sleeping bag for the snowcampout. See ya!

Ultimate Snowmeister Remember the Ultimate Snowmeister the next day (March 29). Test your versatility on alpine skis, XC, snowboard and telemark equipment. See www.willamettepass.com for more info.

Hi Freeheel Frenzy Fanatics!
We are a little less than a month to the Freeheel Frenzy of 2009! On this year's fun filled agenda we will have a challenging uphill/downhill, a harrowing giant slalom, an informative tele tips session, and naturally, a boisterous and hilarious silly slalom. There is word there will also be snow shelter building activities and avalanche scenario searches.

Stick around for the Ultimate Snowmeister race the next day to prove your versatility or cheer them on! Not to mention somebody needs to dethrone the reigning champion.
